Join Free to Be Art at Iron Horse Restaurant for a festive night of painting fun. Included in your ticket price is a sampling of the delicious Iron Horse fare including mini tacos, quesadillas, jalapeno poppers, taquitos, chips, salsa, sour cream and guacamole! The additional purchase of one beverage is required by all attendees as well. Class will be held Thursday, May 31 from 6:00pm-8:00pm. Join us at Portland Cider Co for a memorable evening of painting fun! We will paint the Jellyfish Thursday, May 24 from 7:00-9:00pm at 8925 SE Jannsen Road in Clackamas. It went so well the first time, Free To Be Art is offering another Acrylic Pouring class! It will be Friday, September 8 at 7pm and there are 4 total open spots. This is totally unlike any Free To Be Class you have ever taken, this is abstract art and we will have a lot of fun exploring paint and enjoying the experience of letting go. I will show at least three different acrylic pouring methods and you can choose which you would like to try. This is not the type of class you can control, manage or predict! It is experimental and while I can teach you what has been successful for me, help you pick colors and mix your paint to the right consistency with the additives that I have been using, we simply cannot control what happens when we flip that cup. And it is the greatest thing ever. Unless you are a perfectionist, then it is probably not for you. Each person will paint two 4 x 4 coasters which you will need to leave at Free To Be Art for at least 5 days. I will seal them with waterproof sealer for you and you can pick it up anytime after 5 days. I prefer to set them out as works of art but you can use them as coasters if you want to.
